Rainbow Face Masks is headed up by Will Bayley, gold medal Paralympic table tennis player, most recently known for his courageous appearance on Strictly Come Dancing. Will spent many years of his early life at the Great Ormond Street Hospital, being treated for arthrogryposis, a disability that locked every joint in his body and then childhood cancer. GOSH saved his life and gave him and his family hope. Every day over 600 children, like Will, are treated at GOSH.
GOSH believes it is now past the first peak of the COVID-19 crisis, but as the hospital moves from those initial challenges, the recovery process brings new ones. This includes catching up with a large number of patients, whose non-urgent treatments were suspended to treat COVID-19 patients.
All proceeds from the purchase of your Rainbow Face Mask will help to fund both the hospital’s most urgent needs now and support its vital work once this crisis is over.
