Glenn Richard Boyce & Caroly Janes Crowned WDC World Professional Ballroom Champions
8th September 2026
An extraordinary WDC World Professional Ballroom Championships for DSI Elite, with two couples on the podium and three reaching the semi-final in Canada.
There are moments in competitive dancing that deserve simply to be celebrated.
For Glenn Richard Boyce & Caroly Janes, Canada provided one of them.
Glenn & Caroly have been crowned WDC World Professional Ballroom Champions, reaching the pinnacle of Professional Ballroom and adding yet another World Championship title to an already remarkable partnership.
For everyone at DSI London, we could not be more delighted for them.
But their victory was also part of a wider achievement that made this an extraordinary championship for our DSI Elite performers.
Two DSI Elite Couples on the World Championship Podium
Alongside our new World Champions stood another DSI Elite couple. Michal Le & Sandra Jablonska finished third, placing two DSI Elite couples among the top three in the WDC World Professional Ballroom Championships.
It is a photograph that says rather a lot.
Two couples. Two very different partnerships and performance identities. Both standing on one of Ballroom dancing's most important podiums.
The achievement belongs entirely to the dancers: to their talent, dedication, training and the countless hours of work that precede those few precious minutes on a championship floor.
For DSI London, there is simply enormous pride in being part of their journey.
Three Couples in the Semi-Final
And the story did not end with the podium. David Cockram & Rosie Ward also reached the semi-final, meaning that three DSI Elite couples progressed to the closing stages of the World Championship.
A World Championship semi-final is itself an exceptional achievement, and David & Rosie's result completed a remarkable representation for DSI Elite.
Glenn & Caroly — World Champions.
Michal & Sandra — Third Place.
David & Rosie — Semi-Finalists.
Sometimes the facts are powerful enough on their own.
Partnership in Excellence
DSI Elite has never simply been about placing a name alongside successful dancers.
At its best, it is a partnership.
The dancers bring their ability, discipline, individuality and ambition. Our responsibility is to understand them and to create performance couture worthy of the environments in which they compete.
That relationship is particularly visible when looking at Caroly, Sandra and Rosie.
Each woman presents a completely different image on the floor. There is no attempt to create a single DSI look. Their dresses reflect different personalities, different movement and different interpretations of Ballroom elegance.
That individuality is fundamental to our approach to couture.
The dress should never become more important than the dancer wearing it. It should become part of the complete performance image.
Made in London
Behind the photographs from Canada lies another partnership — between the performers and the people at DSI London who create for them.
The dresses worn by our Elite performers are designed and handcrafted by our Made in London couture team, bringing together creative design, specialist pattern cutting, construction, fitting and embellishment.
What appears under the lights as a finished gown begins much earlier: with conversations, ideas, fabrics, patterns, fittings and skilled hands.
For our team, there is something particularly rewarding about seeing that work leave our London home and appear on one of the world's great competitive stages.
Not because the dress creates the result.
It doesn't.
But because great performance and great craftsmanship can meet through partnership.
A Moment to Celebrate
World Championship titles are rare. World Championship podiums are precious. World Championship semi-finals represent years of dedication.
To see three DSI Elite couples reach that stage of the same WDC World Professional Ballroom Championships is therefore a moment we are immensely proud to share.
Our warmest congratulations go to David & Rosie on their semi-final, to Michal & Sandra on their third place, and, above all, to our new WDC World Professional Ballroom Champions, Glenn Richard Boyce & Caroly Janes.
To all six dancers: congratulations from everyone at DSI London.
We are proud to work alongside you.
