Graham Oswick and Christopher Hawkins headed the second of this year's DSI Active Seminars and what a fabulous day it proved for all dancers!
Despite the arrival of a a new baby only days before, Christopher ensured the capacity crowd at the Matico Studio in Croydon went home with ideas and tips for every level of Ballroom competition.
For the afternoon session, Graham Oswick reigned supreme with his warm and engaging delivery on all things Latin.
Immediate comments ranged from what great value the day provided to immediate sign-ups for the next seminar!
The next date is April 14th when Ballroom dancers get their chance to enjoy a fabulous day of truly priceless learning from a programme which sees Craig & Snezhana Draper joined by Warren & Kristi Boyce and Snieguole Wood.
The day's seminar runs from 10am- 6 p.m. and costs £50 per dancer.

Neil and Katya head line-up - New programme kicks off 24th February
After the phenomenal success of its first ever DSI Active Seminar, three further intensive day teach-ins have been announced including the unmissable chance to learn from the UK's favourite Latin couple, Neil Jones and Ekaterina Sokolova!
The first seminar on February 24th offers a treat for all dancers with the chance to hone technique, pick up tips and improve performance in both disciplines from Ballroom maestro Christopher Hawkins and then in the afternoon session, Latin supremo Graham Oswick. For this training day only it is possible to book for either the morning or afternoon session in addition to a full day's attendance (see booking details below)
Sunday April 14th will see Ballroom dancers get their chance to enjoy a fabulous day of truly priceless learning from a programme which sees Craig & Snezhana Draper joined by Warren & Kristi Boyce and Snieguole Wood.
The other date for your diary which will doubtless send Latin competitors everywhere scurrying to book space is Saturday April 27th when the fabulous Goran Nordin will be joined by none other than Neil Jones & Ekaterina Sokolova and Matthew Cutler.
All seminar days are open to all dancers from Juveniles through to Seniors, and the programme has been carefully planned to ensure everyone at every level will benefit from the expert coaching. Seminar Day HQ is the spanking new Matico Dance Studio in Croydon which is easy to reach by car, tram and train.

The first ever DSI Academy Dance Seminar took place on October 21, 2012
The very first DSI Seminar took place last week to great acclaim. Marion Welsh headed the Ballroom section of the day while Barbara McColl led the Latin teach-in to a packed audience. Dancers were able to immediately translate their seminar notes onto the dancefloor and be critiqued by the world-class coaches. "It was a fabulous day" commented organiser for DSI, Richard Miller "I think everyone has gone away having had not only a really fun day, but also having learned a great deal from two of the best coaches in the world.
